Counselling / Therapy Fees
Alia Mai is a highly qualified counsellor with an Undergrad from York University and an Honours Masters from the University of Toronto, along with advanced training from accredited insititutions. She is a member in good standing of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) and holds the certification of Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
Individual Counselling
$165+GST: 5o-minute session
Couples Counselling
$250+GST: 60-minute session
Package Pricing/Sliding Scale
$700+GST: 5 Individual 50-minute sessions
($140 per session)
All fees are subject to 5% GST.
Payments
Payments for each session are due prior to the session and will be charged directly to a Credit Card securely stored on file. E-transfer is also accepted, transfers can be made at least 24 hours before session. Upon payment, an official receipt will be issued.
Insurance Policy
Insurance companies are not billed directly. If you plan to use insurance to cover the cost of your sessions, please contact your insurance provider before your first session to confirm that your plan covers sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel/reschedule an appointment, please provide 48 hours advanced notice, otherwise the full rate will still apply.
Sliding Scale
Everyone deserves access to support. If financial constraints are a concern, feel free to reach out to discuss the possibility of a discounted rate for a limited number of sessions, provided you can demonstrate low income and no benefits.
